About the Author

A journalist with 10 years experience as a reporter/feature writer for Indiana daily newspapers and The Louisville Courier-Journal and 14 years in public relations, Jean Wertz Nance is now a magazine freelance writer in Wilmington, NC and works as an extra in the movies.

She grew up in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts and majored in journalism at Indiana University. She has interviewed more than 120 people for Cinematic Wilmington.
