President’s Message From Barry Nelder
What a wonderful Christmas Party. The food and fellowship made it a special night for all the members and guests who attended. Thanks to John Golden for leading a rousing sing along.
Thanks too, to Sondra Nelder and Peg Fisher and the Kure Memorial Lutheran Church women for the decorations and setting up and cleaning up after the meal. Thanks, also to Darlene Bright and Demetria Sapienza for all they did to get ready in the days before the party.
Don’t forget the Fort Fisher 149th Re-enactment on Saturday January 18, we’ll be selling hotdogs, drinks, chips and cookies to the reenactors as well as to the general public.
If you can work a shift at our booth on January, 18th, please let Rebecca know. Also we need COOKIES to sell. Please call Rebecca and let her know if you can make some – they can be dropped off at the History Center on Friday if you can’t make it down to the sale. Hope to see you there.
